Orbit & Shutter was born out of our shared love for storytelling and capturing life’s most meaningful moments. It all started with Bryce being asked to record the ceremony for a cousin and, in his typical fashion, took it to the stars and ended up filming the entire day for them. This is where he decided he loved it and brought Haylee in to work on this together.

Right now, it’s just the two of us. Bryce behind the camera and Haylee bringing her creative eye and organization to every project, but we’re excited to grow into a team that can serve even more couples and stories.

Our approach is simple: we want your film to feel like you. Not staged or forced, but an authentic reflection of the joy, laughter, and intimacy of your day. We aim to blend into the background while capturing the moments that matter most. We want to tell YOUR story in a way that feels like you.

Bryce is the lead filmmaker and editor, always chasing the perfect angle, ensuring every detail is crisp, and your story is told in the perfect way. Haylee is the creative partner, helping with storyboarding, planning, and making sure your day runs smoothly. Together, we balance technical precision with heartfelt storytelling.
